The USB Headset Microphone is the cheapest and best sounding microphone you can get for a podcast, especially if you are just getting started. The reason why we recommend a USB headset over the conventional mic plug, is because USB mics have a cleaner sound. Conventional microphones almost always have sounds from your computers fan or other moving parts inside your computer system.

If you are one of the lucky ones (like me) to get a Google Wave invite then you might be over-joyed or over-confused. I was a little of both until I heard about The Complete Guide To Wave. A free book written by Gina Trapani with Adam Pash.
The best thing about this book besides the fact that it’s free is that it is going to be a “living book”, meaning that they will keep it up to date with new information as it becomes available. To support both Gina and Adam I would recommend you buy a copy of the book when it is available.
